Prior to A&M-Commerce: Attended Eastfield College, where he played on the tennis team and saw action at No. 4 singles and No. 3 doubles...team went on to finish runner up in the nation at the NJCAA Division III Championships...attended Lone Oak High School, where he was a three-sport letterwinner, earning letters in tennis (4), track (2) and cross country (1)...a three-time district champion in tennis and was the district runner up in the 300-meter hurdles as a senior.
