LION TRACK AND FIELD TO HOLD OPEN TRYOUT ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7
COMMERCE, Texas –- The Texas A&M University-Commerce track and field team is holding open tryouts on Friday, October 7 at Memorial Stadium for the upcoming 2012 track and field season.
Tryouts will be held for a number of events, including the 100 and 400-meter dashes and the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Field event tryouts include the shot put and the discus.
The tryouts will begin at 2:30 p.m. on October 7 at Memorial Stadium. In order to participate in the tryouts, prospective athletes will need to submit proof of insurance, proof of medical exam within the last six months (copy of physical results) and a proof of enrollment at A&M-Commerce with at least a 2.5 grade point average.
