A&M-COMMERCE CLOSES 2011 SEASON AT NCAA SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONALS
The 2011 A&M-Commerce cross country season wrapped up at the 2011 NCAA South Central Regional Championships Saturday as the Lion men placed 14th out of 19 schools. The women only had four runners competing meaning they were unable to tally a team score.

A&M-Commerce's men's cross country team notched a third-place finish at the 2011 Lone Star Conference Championships in San Angelo Saturday, while the women finished ninth.

Sophomore Alex Kimp has been named one of the six members of the 2011 Lone Star Conference Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, announced today by the league office.

A&M-Commerce’s men’s and women’s cross country teams put themselves up against some of the top cross country runners in the country, competing in the 74th annual Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree.

LIONS PLACE FIRST AT TEXAS WESLEYAN RAM RUMBLE
After getting rained out last week at the Missouri Southern Stampede, A&M-Commerce made the short drive to Fort Worth for the Texas Wesleyan Ram Rumble and made the most of the trip, placing first in the team standings while having six runners finish among the top-12 individually.

A&M-COMMERCE RACES TO SECOND-PLACE FINISH AT MIDWESTERN STATE STAMPEDE
Texas A&M University-Commerce opened up the 2011 season with a second-place showing at the Midwestern State Stampede in Wichita Falls. The Lions tallied 61 points and had three runners place among the top-15.
