Lions outscore Dallas Diesel, 107-85, in exhibition play

Six players scored in double figures for Texas A&M
University-Commerce as the Lions defeated the Dallas Lady Diesel,
107-85, in exhibition play on Tuesday night at the A&M-Commerce
Field House.
Senior Britney Jordan paced the Lions with 18 points. Senior
Angelique Robinson and junior Lametrius Edwards recorded 15 points
apiece, junior Nakazi Glover netted 13, sophomore Genevieve
Campbell totaled 12 and senior Nola Taylor added 10. Edwards,
Robinson and Taylor each recorded double-digit rebounds as
well.
Chantoya Hawkins and Jhudy Gonzalez led the Diesel with a
game-high 22 points. Deneva Fogarty chipped in 19.
The Lions now look to the regular season with their first game on
Saturday against Southern Arkansas at 2 p.m. in the
A&M-Commerce Field House.
