Former Lion standout Katedria Mosley returns to the A&M-Commerce sideline in her first season as an assistant coach for the Lions.
Mosely was a four-year letterwinner for the Lions and was a two-time All-Lone Star Conference selection, including being named the conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2004-05, the first women’s basketball player to receive the honor.
Mosley was a key player on the 2006-07 team that posted a school-record 28 victories en route to the program’s first-ever Lone Star Conference championship. A&M-Commerce also advanced to the Elite Eight of the 2007 NCAA tournament.
In her four seasons in Commerce, Mosley finished with 1,602 career points, ranking in the top-five all-tiime in A&M-Commerce program history. She is also the Lions’ all-time leader in both rebounds (865) and blocked shots (126).
A native of Idabel, Okla., Mosley was an all-state player at Idabel High School. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from A&M-Commerce in 2009 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in education administration.
