Fall 2009: Averaged 85.33 strokes per round in four tournaments of action...shot a season-best and career-best round of 79 in the opening round of the Cheddar's UCO Classic (October 5-6, 2009)...tied for 51st at the Cheddar's UCO Classic. 

2008-09: Averaged 88.25 strokes per round in four tournaments of action...shot a season-best round of 80 in the final round of the Coca Cola Invitational (April 14, 2009)...third among her A&M-Commerce teammates at the Coca Cola Invitational...posted a season-best finish of tied for 37th at the Pepsi Lion Invitational (March 16-17, 2009) as an individual...fourth among her teammates in her A&M-Commerce debut at the St. Edward's Invitational (March 2-3, 2009). 

Prior to A&M-Commerce: A four-year letterwinner on the golf team at nearby Cooper High School...also played on the basketball, softball and tennis teams as well as running track in high school...named the Female Athlete of the Year as a senior...in golf, she was a three-time district champion and earned all-district honors in three sports - golf, basketball and tennis...as a senior, she advanced to the state golf tournament. Oats and her teammates finished second in the district in both golf and softball as a senior. 

Personal: Born September 22, 1990...daughter of Malone and Diana Oats...liberal studies major.
