Angelo State won the team title in convincing fashion with a 17-stroke advantage over runner up Incarnate Word.

The Rambelles shot a 631 (317-314) and had the best team score in both rounds. The Lions finished seventh with a 680 (334-346), five strokes away from sixth-place honors.

Joanna De Sa Peirera of Incarnate Word rallied from a one-stroke deficit entering Tuesday’s final round and posted a one-over par 73 for a two-stroke victory. De Sa Peirera shot six-over par for the victory to edge Kylee Johnson of Cameron, who shot an eight-over par and identical rounds of 76.

The next tournament for A&M-Commerce is the Midwestern State Invitational to be held at the Champions Course in Wichita Falls, Texas.
