2007: Played and started all 21 matches at goalkeeper for the Lions • recorded five shutouts and allowed just one goal in five more matches • fifth in the Lone Star Conference in saves (100) • sixth in the LSC and 88th in the nation in saves per game (5.0) • converted the winning kick and made the decisive save in the Lone Star Conference Tournament quarterfinals win against Texas Woman's (Nov. 1) • made a season-high 10 saves against Incarnate Word (Sept. 14) and Central Oklahoma (Nov. 2). 

2006: Played in 11 matches with three starts • recorded a shot against St. Mary's (Sept. 21) • saw action in a season-high 105 minutes in the 3-2 double overtime victory over Eastern New Mexico (Oct. 22).

Prior to A&M-Commerce: A three-year starter at Southlake Carroll High School • made 42 saves as a senior in 12 games of action en route to honorable mention all-district honors • also named academic all-district and all-state...team advanced to the regional finals as a senior • a member of student council and the Spanish Club in high school • played on the Texas Olympic Development Team for two years.

Personal: Born April 19, 1988 • daughter of Paul and Elsa Alvarado • sister, Michelle played for the Lions where she was a second team all-Lone Star Conference selection in 2004 as a senior • a sports management major.
