Prior to A&M Commerce:  Three sport athlete while at Duchesne Academy in Houston, Texas ... Two year letterwinner in soccer under coach Ahmit Shaw ... First team all-district and second team all-state selection as a sophomore ... Also lettered twice in track and field, competing in sprints, as well as once in cross country ... Played for the Albion Hurricanes club soccer team from 2004-10 ... Also played for Eclipse club team from 2001-03 ... Won the state championship in 2003 ... Competed in the National Cup state finals in 2002, 2009 and 2010 ... Competed in AAU track, qualifying for the regional meet in the 1500 meter in 2007 and the national meet in the 800 and 1500 meters in 2008.

Personal: Born May 14, 1991 ... Daughter of H. Gray and Oralia Burks ... Brother Jonathan ran track at the Air Force Academy, qualifying for the NCAA championship in the 800 meter in 2007.
