Meagan Lasley

Position: Graduate Assistant

Coach Lasley was a former All-Star soccer player for Texas A&M University-Commerce. She started all four years during her tenure at Commerce. Her last season winning with the Lions was in 2009. She has amassed numerous awards throughout her playing time for the Lions winning the title of Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2009, Daktronics First Team All-Region 2009, ADIDAS All-American in 2008, First Team All-Region in 2008, Daktronics Second Team All-Region in 2008, Lone Star Conference All-Tournament Team in 2007, First Team All-Lone Star Conference her junior and senior seasons, and voted Second Team All-Lone Star Conference in 2007.

Coach Lasley also holds numerous records for Lions Soccer. She currently holds the record of most goals in a season at 20 (2008), Most points in a season with 52 (2008), and most games started and played at 23(2008). She is currently in the record books as second most All-Time career points with 122, and also is second place All-Time with 47 goals for the Lions. She also holds the fourth place record for assists posting a career of 28 total assists.     

Born April 8, 1988 daughter of Charles Lasley and Julea Mashburn has a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, and is currently working on her Masters in Sport’s Studies.
