“They were still angry about Thursday, and they were able to
channel that emotion into tonight’s match.”
The Lions traveled to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday and
dropped a 3-1 decision to the Bulldogs. But, the Lions, led by
Ballard, only went through nine lead changes the entire match

continuing play past the regular season in the LSC tourney.
“They realized that they can not wait for something to
happen,” said Pryor. “They went out and were proactive
and took control. “I am very proud of them all.”
A&M-Commerce currently sits in a four-way tie for third place
with Midwestern State, Abilene Christian and Texas Woman’s.
West Texas A&M holds the top spot, followed by Tarleton
State.
