A&M-Commerce volleyball set for LSC Tournament match against Tarleton State

After finishing the regular season
with a 15-11 overall record and 7-6 mark in the Lone Star
Conference, the Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball team
is headed to the LSC Tournament for the first time since 2002.
The Lions enter the tourney as the No. 7 seed, and will face No. 2
seed Tarleton State at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday in Canyon.
It will be the second matchup this season between the Lions and
TexAnns, with Tarleton State earning the victory in four at the
A&M-Commerce Field House on Sept. 25. Alyssa
Oberle recorded 14 kills and 10 digs, Morgan
Ballard chipped in 10 kills and Lauren
Flynn notched a game-high 21 digs to lead the Lions.
Shay Gracy collected 11 kills and Missy Castro added 10 for the
TexAnns.
Tarleton State finished 21-9 overall and 10-3 in conference play.
