Lauren Flynn Named CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Second Team Academic All-District

Texas A&M University-Commerce senior volleyball member Lauren Flynn earned recognition for her efforts in the classroom and on the court on Thursday.

The Deer Park, Texas native was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Second Team Academic All-District. Flynn is the nation's leader in digs per set and already has set the A&M-Commerce school single-season and career record for digs. 

Flynn is a math education major and was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2008. She will graduate at the end of the spring semester from A&M-Commerce.

Flynn and the Lions will wrap up the regular season on Saturday at 2 pm as they host Southeastern Oklahoma State at the A&M-Commerce Field House.
